The objectives and purpose of this not for profit organization is to further the interests of the residents of the City of Key Colony Beach, to foster and encourage programs and activities for beautification, security, safety and recreational enjoyment of the community.
Currently it reports 600 members in the city and helps contribute several thousand dollars per year to the betterment of our beautiful island city. A major fund raiser and event is Key Colony Beach Day in March - A city birthday celebration event that attracts many visitors and offers a variety of vendors, food, live music, games and more.
Members participate in dinners and other social events and receive the seasonal monthly newsletter, The Beeline.

"Key Colony Beach Fishing & Boating Club"
The Key Colony Beach Fishing and Boating Club is a social club of residents of KCB who enjoy a similar interest in the water, fishing, boating and each others company. It meets on the first Friday of the months November through April. Meetings are held at the City Hall Auditorium at 6 p.m. for refreshments followed by a short business meeting.
The Club has an annual clam bake and also a spaghetti supper awards night program. In March the Marathon Lady is chartered for a half day of fishing and socializing. Month long fishing tournaments are held with awards for the big fish in various categories. Boating trips for the boater are scheduled in between weather fronts!

"Key Colony Beach Gems"
"The Gems" is an informal organization of the ladies of Key Colony Beach. Its purpose is to provide an avenue for social interaction among the women of this small community. It is administered by a board of volunteers who plan monthly gatherings during the winter season, November through April. These meetings are usually held the second Thursday of the month in a variety of local restaurants who provide a set menu for the afternoon. Following each luncheon, a brief program of general community interest is planned. Membership is free and open to all women who reside in Key Colony Beach.
