Key Colony Beach Fishing & Boating Club

The Key Colony Beach Fishing and Boating Club is a social club of residents of KCB who enjoy similar interests in fishing, boating, and good fellowship among members. The Club meets on the first Friday during the months of November through April. Meetings are held at the City Hall Auditorium at 6:00 PM for refreshments followed by a business meeting and dinner.

The Club has an annual New Year’s Eve Party, President’s Day Clam Bake, Little Palm Island Trip, and End of Season Dinner.

Every June the Club in conjunction with the City of Key Colony, the KCB Police Department, and the City of Marathon sponsors and hosts a free Children’s Fishing Derby aboard the Marathon Lady followed by an Awards Luncheon at the KCB Inn. Month long fishing tournaments are held with awards for the largest fish in several categories. Boating trips and rendezvous for the boaters are scheduled throughout the season.
